Hay fever

Acupressure points for relief of symptoms of Hay fever

Apply deep, probing pressure with fingertip, knuckle or soft-pointed object, such as a pencil eraser.

Acupoint 23: Bl-2

Below the brow ridge at the corner of the eye nearest the bridge of the nose, just below a notch in the skull

TCM: Bladder 2

Hay fever doesn't really involve an actual fever, usually, and unless you live in a rural area, is unlikely to involve hay either. Hay fever is a euphamism for pollen allergies, which hit hardest in the spring and summer months. In addition to this acupressure point, you may also want to try points for allergies, sneezing, the eyes the nose and nasal congestion.

If you have not found relief, try the same points on the opposite side of the body, or go back and try a related or similar symptom or body area. If you have not used acupressure before, please see the Instructions, then click the "Body Area" or "A-Z" tab and repeat.
